TV Junkie

Cover me in chocolate
Smother me in marmite
I am in the jungle
Caught up in a fire fight
I’ve got cold spaghetti
All over my belly
Underneath my Poncho
My legs have turned to jelly

My lance is made of celery
I’m jousting Don Quixote
Exploring up my nose
Where a found a Humphrey Bogie
Crawling through the tunnels
As the Red Cross pass the parcels
Thrown into a dungeon
I nearly lost my marbles

When I’m home
I’m a TV junkie I’ve got square eyes
Sitting in the dark with a bottle of coke
I got my heart beat in a remote
When I’m home
I’m a TV junkie I’ve got square eyes
I’ve been habitually addicted to soaps
And the moral of the story I know
I’ll be up half of the night

I’ve been watching The Man Who Fell To Earth
My TV got turned on

Mum is in her nightie
Flynn was on fortnightly
Poirot’s in the scullery
Where they commit another felony
I found Bin Laden
Hiding in my garden
Question time’s debating
If they should issue him a pardon
I’m eating chicken nuggets out of a bucket
Cause I’m a couch potato since I bought into cable
I’m frightened by the silence
I’m not that into violence
Smearing ketchup on my vest
Whenever I have Diehard on

When I’m home
I’m a TV junkie I’ve got square eyes
Sitting in the dark with a bottle of coke
I got my heart beat in a remote
I’ll be up half of the night
When I’m home
I’m a TV junkie I’ve got square eyes
I’ve been habitually addicted to soaps
And the moral of the story I know
I’ll be up half of the night
